I have worked for several painting company's which has advanced my knowledge in the feild a great deal. I have ran a crew and produced quality work and trained many people. I was with a company for ten years and still on great terms. My pay with then was 30hr when I left. I do residential commercial federal and government jobs. I am very detail oriented and a fast worker. so here's the run down. I am looking for long term employment with a company that appriciates my opinion and will take my word with consideration and be thankful for it. my intentions are always to improve workers production and ween out the poor slackers or build them into excellent workers. I am uplifting and believe in positive reinforcment. In other words I am constantly saying good job, way to go and so forth but I also let people know where improvements needed or how to better themselves as employees. I am tired of companies not allowing me to speak up to better their company.. most people don't care to hear of any issues.. My finding is that many employees are scared to speak up about issues because they don't want to cause drama or get fired. I want to be their voice and can manage what needs to happen. For instance I was working as an employee with a company and the manager, who's suppose to work just as much as the other employees, was not doing a darn thing, he was always on his phone or dissapearimg and we were working twice as hard. The one employee did not want to voice to the boss what was going on so I did in a polite manner. the boss replied... I dont have time to hear about any of this. In my opinion the manager should have been spoken to and if the employees noticed a positive change then he could continue as an employee if he did not then he should be let go. Everyone should be allowed to speak up without fear of loosing their job and all fair at the workplace. With all this said if you hire me as your employee I want to be clear that we can communicate together to better the company and employees.. anyone who had worked under me has loved me ad a manager and appriciated all the knowledge I gave them which the all applied and became excellent employees I can request letter from each of them if neccessary.. its the bosses that have not appriciated or cared to listen that I'm not fond of. I have your companies best intrest in mind and will better your employees just appriciate my opinion and have some trust in me. in regards to my wage I need to be making no less than 30hr but will consider 27 to start.I appriciate overtime when needed I drop my children off at 5 am and normally start at 6 am to 230. I live in puyallup and travel to Olympia to Seattle ect... If I sound like a great fit let me know. A company rig or fuel allowances and benefits is something I'm looking for as well. If you need a painting superintendent show me the scope of work teach me what I don't know while I'm a manger as I'm very willing to learn blue prints and have interest in it and we will be on our way to making a successful excellent crew that loves to come to work.
