Painter Job in Prince George, British Columbia

Welcome to Student Works Painting! We are a student operated franchise working in the Prince George area on residential homes and commercial buildings. Spend a summer making great money with Student Works! We offer full Workers Compensation and training to all of our employees! Positions: Marketers and Painters Marketing starts NOW. For those of you who are looking for simple, easy work before, after or in between school and cannot commit to a steady job, this is perfect for you. Marketing involves going door to door selling our painting services in order to collect leads (potential customers). For every lead you produce you earn $10.00, if that lead turns into a booking then you earn an extra $15.00. However, a minimum of 4 leads MUST be produced each week. A telemarketing positions is also available for a limited time only! If you would rather stay indoors calling previous customers then this job may be perfect for you! Hours are flexible and can be worked around your schedule. Apply with a friend! This makes carpooling and marketing easier and more fun! Painting starts in MAY and goes to the end of AUGUST. This is a great way to earn money, and painting experience! No additional experience is required to apply, however you must have some sort of transportation method to get to and from job sites. The pay for a painter is $12.00 per piece rate hour. This means that for every required piece of work (in this case a certain amount of painting done) done in an hour you are paid $12.00. This is NOT the same as hourly wages. For a Crew Chief the pay is $14.00 per piece rate hour. OR Apply to both! Get to know some of the people you are working in the summer by practicing your people skills and going door to door with marketers/ painters. Then continue on to paint throughout the summer! The amount of leads YOU produce in the winter, the more work YOU will get in the summer!
