Painting is my family’s trade and having been raised in the industry, I am well versed in all facets of the interior and exterior process. I have applied coatings to steeples, basement floors and everything in between. In recent years, my primary focus has been on kitchen/baths in general, and cabinets in particular. I have developed a streamlined system for painting cabinets that is of minimal inconvenience to the client. In most cases, clients will be able to use their kitchens throughout the process. For cabinets I use an industrial coating that is available in any color you might choose. The doors are removed and taken to my shop to be sprayed. The boxes can be done either by hand or sprayed depending on the clients preference. (Spraying necessitates blocking off the room.) A typical set of cabinets takes about a week, 3 days of which are spent in your home, 2 on the boxes and one day for re-installation. Hinge and hardware changes are also available. There is no need for the client to move anything or clean out the cabinets. Because kitchens and baths have limited wall space, I offer wall painting in rooms that I’ve done cabinets in at a discount. If your cabinets are in need of updating, your walls probably are too.
