Hello, My name is Kyle Mills. I'm 26. I have 6 years experience in painting everything from from commercial to residential, new construction, and repaints. Experience in all interior and exterior work. I have a valid driver's license and my own reliable transportation. I have no misdemeanors or felonies and I am not a drug addict. I can Prep- caulk, puddy, mud, patch, sand, and prime; Finish- cut, roll, trim, baseboards and touch up. I have sprayer experience also. I just haven't sprayed recently. I've been brushing and rolling mostly. I can roll with a 9", 14", or 18" roller. I work with Purdy, Wooster, and Shurline brushes. All work is neat, clean, and efficient. I cut straight lines on ceilings, around trim and baseboards, bannisters, fireplaces, fixtures or any fine detailed work. All cut-ins are rounded off and streak free. I don't leave drips. I am also experienced in most finish carpentry and trim work. There is a small list of tasks in a home that I cannot do strictly because it hasn't been asked of me yet, or necessary. There is nothing I can't learn in a few minutes though. I am intelligent and very resourceful when things are tight. I am flexible in any environment. I am picky and take pride in my finished product. I have my own tools and brushes/naps. I am not afraid of heights or small spaces. I work hard and show up on time. I understand deadlines and I rarely take breaks. I recently had tools ( 18" roller, brushes, extender) and a few other things stolen from me by coworkers at recent place employment and is why I left. I've replaced some brushes and I still have everything I need to work. I'm looking to grow with a company and be paid fairly according to the work done/quality of work. I don't mind starting at a lower wage, but expect to be evaluated for an hourly wage increase as soon as possible. I've worked on everything from houses to near million dollar homes. I'm not cocky or unreasonable. I just know what I'm worth. I'm very laid back and easy going. I can get along with anyone. I'm no snake or one-upper in the work place. If I make a mistake I own it. I don't delegate responsibility to coworkers who make less. I help out anyone who needs a hand and offer any helpful advice to coworkers that I can. I take constructive criticism well and strive to be better at my work constantly. I have no problem going behind workers and catching holidays and touch ups I see as I work. I'm not interested in doing this constantly though. I'm a team player and a natural leader. I don't crumble under pressure and work towards a beautiful "over all" finished product; not just what I've been assigned, and prefer to work with likeminded individuals. I also am available for any private job, big or small. I can give you a clean, professional job for a great price and finish it in a reasonable time. I can also expedite any tasks if you have a deadline and need it done quickly; as long as you give me prior notice.
