I'm an
Individual
Joey Morris 10333 60...th Avenue NE Marysville, WA 98270 (4...) PERSONAL INTERESTS. I love to paint, work, make money, and am trying to get into a career instead of a job to support my family. OBJECTIVE. My objective is to get on anywhere I can get my foot in the door and will be the best worker. EXPERIENCE. (4/07 - 3/08):Lead Painter for THE PAINTERMAN CO. Arlington, Washington 98270 42... I ran jobs including all the duties that entails, as far as getting paint and supplies, making sure all the guys on the job were doing what they were supposed to do and everyone was doing it in a safe manner. I helped mask and then spray the buildings; I made sure all the equipment was back where it was supposed to be at the end of every day. I did a lot of the masking for millwork, all the sanding, and bondoing, and little things that go with that. I operated and maintained a very clean and workable company van..I did whatever I was told and took pride in the fact that when I did a job it always looked good when I was finished, but I didn't get much of the credit that went mostly to boss who wasnt around. (6/08 - 9/08:) PAINTER S&E Painting (Everett, Washington )At this job the bosses son and I were the only sprayers, we did only two big jobs because it was seasonal. We did A 200 unit apartment complex in Kirkland. The other job was a big shopping mall in Bremerton, there we used 60ft booms and sizzor lifts and both of us had one. This job was lots of masking and spraying mostly outside work, getting done with the two big jobs they had with only two people and one old man. It was a very fun place to work and I liked the people.(11/05 -...) Grays Custom Painting (Arlington, Washington 98270 36...)At this job I maintained a clean working truck and made sure the job site was as clean as when we pulled up. I also did all the masking for the interiors and all the exteriors, mostly by myself because for the first year I was the only employee. I also did all the masking for the mill packs, the boss did all the spraying. I did spray most all the interiors and back roll them by myself in a timely manner and the exteriors with a 695 or 795.I felt I did a lot of work there since I was the only employee and the boss didn't do much of the masking but he was a real good guy and friend. I take painting very serious and love to do the jobs. (1999 - ...): MACHINIST MATE United States Navy (Everett, Washington )I did a lot of different things on the ship and was given some jobs that a none petty officer, like myself, should not have been given, and before me had not been given in over 10 years because of my work ethic and drive to learn as much as I could no matter what the job. I took every job seriously and put all I had into it. I was the lube oil king for the entire ship and I gave the captain the results personally. If I thought there was water or something in the oil I could hold the ship wherever I wanted and the captain would trust me. I took great pride in that.I completed ship board fire training at North Bend fire training. I was the first non petty officer in over 10 years to be giving the demanding job of the lube oil king of the entire ship, and the only person no matter what time it was, that tested and spun the oil samples. Only the captain and I could hold the ship anywhere in the world if I found water or any other contaminants in the oil which i took great pride in being given that kind of trust. Jan 4 2011 -- July 2010: Structures Mechanic Boeing (Everett plant, Everett Washington )I have some experience in looking at drawings and riveting and other skills that go with the mechanic job but would love to get to the paint department..... skills are painting, but learning some mechanical skills was fun and hard, but totally worth it. EDUCATIONHigh School Diploma 3.0 gpa SKILLSI have done a lot of diverse things in the time I have been painting but I know I still have a lot to learn and look forward to the next challenge but Im at the point where I want to get in with A company I can stay with for yrs and not get laid of I promise if u hire me you will get A hard dedicated worker that takes huge pride in his work and will be A great contributer to ur company. by the way just to put it out there to make things easier im looking for at least 16 hr
