Miami Home Centers is looking for two individuals to train in mixing paint and matching the right color for our client's needs. You may be the person we are looking for. Desire to learn and willing to work with our sales team in developing relationships with our customers. We will pair you with one of our experienced paint specialists to gain knowledge about types of paint, color matching, and paint tools. At Miami Home Centers, we enjoy helping customers fulfill their home project needs. Our hardware company has four store locations to choose from. South Miami, Miami Beach, Tamiami and Pinecrest. Depending on our need and your qualifications training may take place in one of the stores and assigned more permanently later at a different store. Many opportunities within our company. [email protected] GENERAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication and time management skills. • Team Player • Dependable • Friendly, able to speak and work different customer personalities • Maintains daily log, records and forms assigned by store manager. • Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property(s). • Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment. • Motivated to sell or help customers complete their project needs • Ability to follow directions well • Other duties as required. OPERATING SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: Education/Training: • High school diploma or equivalency preferred. • College level courses in business is ideal but not required. Experience/Knowledge: • One (1) to three (3) years of work experience preferred. • Computer literacy: able to navigate or follow directions well • Effective written and verbal communication skills. • Spanish language fluency is desirable but not required. • Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required. PAINT ASSOCIATE POSITION DESCRIPTION Miami Home Centers is seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working Paint Specialist to join our newer paint division at our Tamiami and our Miami Beach hardware location. This is the ideal position for knowledgeable and energetic people who have a passion for customer care and creativity. As a MHC Paint Specialist, you are an important part of the store team. Some experience in knowing about color in general and Benjamin Moore paint is desired but not required. Benefits and training available for the right person. Responsibilities Mixing paint with precision, following Benjamin Moore guidelines. Helping customers match colors and type of finishes. Educate customers on paint products to help complete customer's project needs. Helping other team members when store gets busy. Work additional hours during special paint events/projects with other 4 stores.
