Painter Job in Corvallis, Oregon

We paint the exterior of homes so this requires manual labor. Your own transportation is also required. We are looking to hire immediately for the Corvallis/Albany area. REQUIREMENTS: * No previous experience required, employer will train you. * Valid driver license to operate your own vehicle to perform work related duties. * Willing to work outdoors in hot weather. * No fear of heights (maneuver and climb ladders at second story homes). PREFERRED: * Prior residential prep and painting experience. * Manual labor experience. JOB DUTIES: * Apply adhesives. * Apply cleaning solvents. * Finish and trim work. * Maneuver heavy objects. * Operate airless spray paint equipment. * Prepare surfaces to paint. * Mask or cover structures. * Use pressure washing equipment. * Clean up. * Follow all safety procedures. * Climb ladders at second story homes to prep and paint. HOURS: * Typically work Monday through Thursday (10 hour days) * Available to work some Fridays and weekends (depends on work load). * Position will last until the middle of September, 2014. WAGE: *$9.00-$12... per hour depending on efficiency, plus production bonus at the end of the painting season. This is a fun and challenging position that is ideal for someone wanting to get hands on experience in project management while working outdoors with other like-minded individuals and earning a good hourly wage.
