Painting the Figure Weekend Workshops Instructed by Martha Wade I will be offering three workshops this fall on the weekends of: August 29 & 30 September 26 & 27 November 7 & 8 Each session is: Saturday & Sunday 10 am - 4:30 pm In these workshops, I will be demonstrating my specific approach to and techniques for painting the figure. Topics will include: • Demonstration of the screen technique I use. Students will have the opportunity to experiment with it as well. • Suggestions and instruction on working with color and flesh tones. • Using photography and models as part of the process. There will be a short break in the morning and afternoon. Lunch will be supplied. Classes will be held in my studio, west of Sebastopol. The cost for the workshop is $275, with $25 due upon registration. I will supply paint and brushes for an additional $20 fee. All experience levels are welcome. Class size is limited to six.
