Painter Job in Pickering Status: Full Time (May-August) : 5-6 days/week Location: Pickering and surrounding area. Compensation: - 12-14$/ hr through piecework Work Description: - Responsible for providing direction to and supervision of painters. - Handle general customer concerns, close client contracts. - Train new painters and report performance to manager. - Transport crew, equipment and materials between job sites. - Receive directions from manager and communicate issues. - Create daily progress reports - Appropriately prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting. - Paint interior and exterior surfaces (decks, fences, siding, doors, walls, etc.). - Maintain a clean and organized job site. - Drop off flyers and market to neighboring houses. Requirements and qualifications: - Be a leader, team player, hard worker, self-motivated, punctual. - Must posses good communication skills. - Must enjoy working outdoors. Willing to get dirty. - Comfortable with heights and working on ladders. - Have full-time access to a vehicle.
