Painter in Colorado Springs, Colorado

I've been in the mid-east area of Colorado Springs since 1984. My main job has been with the Air Force Reserve at Peterson AFB up until I retired from the military in 2013. I am now Federal Civil Service at Schriever AFB. I've owned two homes and have done various upgrades and handyman work in both, but my first love is painting. I've been drawing and painting since I was a kid. I took architectural drafting for two years in high school and have an Associate's degree in mechanical design drafting and loved every bit of it. I've done hand paintings in oils, acrylics and modeling paints on metal, glass and canvas and have applied nose art to C-130 military cargo aircraft. I had the great honor of attending airshows and presenting original paintings to the mayors of five Colorado cities; Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Loveland, Aspen and Gunnison. I simply have a passion for making things look as good as they possibly can. I am highly experienced with interiors, ceilings, priming, mudding, sanding, staining, exteriors, doors, masking, walls, trim, taping and drywall repair. I can also do light carpentry such as framing a wall to make two rooms out of one. I would love the opportunity to sit down with a client and discuss their need or desire.
