Painter in Akron, Ohio

My name is Kendrick Bashor, but I usually go by Ben. Currently, I am a Biology student attending the University of Akron and I have a minor in Environmental Ethics. This job is attractive to me for several reasons. Primarily I will have a unique opportunity to learn a new skill that involves my hands. I've long believed that a person ought to have a skill in their hands as well as their mind. Academically I'm honing skill in thought, and through this job I believe I can begin to hone skill in hand. Another reason I want a painting job is to work effectively and efficiently in a team. In my experience, more often than not in academics (especially the sciences) the effort is put forth by one person to achieve the end goal, though usually in conjunction with others' research. The effect is that one can feel somewhat isolated or maybe stuck for a spell. Now, in collaboration with a team small or large, a job such as painting is achieved together and with help from the other members of the crew. A plain goal is set forth and achieved by a team of interacting and cooperative individuals. To this team approach I bring many useful effects. I am a quick learner (to be frank, I've never painted before) and apply what I'm told immediately to the task at hand. I'm energetic. I can keep our team high in spirit to carry us through our work speedily and with quality. I will provide quality work to the best of my ability. I work well with others. In a team format I can give and be given directions concisely and with understanding. Finally, I'm a lighthearted and friendly fellow who easily finds his place and gets along well with others.
